Nice insurance. Covers maximum regular lab tests and visits. Rare lab tests which are non covered. Annual physical covers all lab tests. Apart from this provide less out of network price. Piece of cake billing from insurance

Worst insurance visitor I had to bargain with in my entire life. The coverage is pretty good when things are going well, but it is rarely the case, and the stress of dealing with them is non worth it. They deactivated my coverage twice in iii month due to a billing error, which happened equally a result of their poor billing arrangement, not because we didn't pay. We called them to ready the consequence, the latest update was basically "we are aware of the outcome and working on it", I heard this message 2 weeks ago. They are obviously not doing a practiced chore working on things because I am without health insurance for over 2 weeks at present, while significant, I must add.

When searching for a supplemental plan for my mother's Medicare A and B plan, I decided to select Blue Cross. I noticed that most of the benefits included were already perks in her regular Medicare plan but since I was bombarded with letters and television receiver commercials regarding the great boosted benefits I figured we would give information technology a try. This "boosted coverage" only prolonged doctors' appointments because of the excessive requirements for referrals. I call back these plans exist to represent the political power of organizations proving limited coverage for the elderly and proving political strength of programmatic structure forces against expansion

I am a PCP and have been trying to get behavioral health services for a patient of mine since 2019. No luck. I take provided counseling for free in the interim because her HMO does not provide MH services. Today my banana and I spent > 2 hours on the phone with provider services and and then patient services. We were transferred 5 times and they then they just abandoned the call. They obviously just don't care. I will encourage the patient to file a complaint. I will file a complaint with the department of managed care services and her HMO.
I am trying to get a phone number and email for the Anthem CEO, Gail Thou. Boudreaux. Does she know what's really going on with her company? Are you lot actually living up to your: Mission- Improving Lives and Communities. Simplifying Healthcare. Expecting More. Vision- To be the nearly innovative, valuable and inclusive partner. Our Values- Leadership, Customs, Integrity, Agility, Variety? I remember not. Give me a phone call.

BlueShield is ridiculously expensive and almost every time my doctor needs to get approval for something, it is denied as Medically not necessary. My doc and I always hash out treatment options and then proceed. How can a "doctor" who has NOT seen me, make a judgement as to what is necessary or not!? This is ridiculous. I have been in serious pain and this is the plan that the medico and I decided upon (chose to attempt and avoid surgery). I pay extremely high amount per month for a PPO, plus I have to pay a copay, PLUS PLUS PLUS... I am getting NO care from Blue Shield! I have to appeal everything and in most cases entreatment to the state lath. Blue Shield is the WORST! If you can avert this company, I admittedly recommend looking elsewhere!

Blue Shield did non cover their portion of a nib from an IN NETWORK provider that I was referred to and received prior dominance. I submitted an appeal/grievance, Crystal H was the coordinator, and she denied the grievance, stating the dr. was out of network. I was asked to re-appeal with my "new information." All the same it is not new information, all this data is readily available on their own Bluish Shield website and within their ain arrangement. They apologize for being "and so busy" only if they just exercise their job correctly the commencement time, they wouldn't be so busy. Ridiculous, and the cause of expensive wellness insurance fees - administrators who cannot practise their job correctly the kickoff time and get "so busy."

My experience with Blue Shield has been the worst. I volition recommend or renew with this insurance provider. In July of 2018, I was taken to the ER in Nevada to Sunrise Infirmary for immediate treatment. I had given all the proper documentation with correct Blue Shield insurance data - to the Sunrise Hospital. I ensured I paid the ambulance nib, which bluish shield covered.
As for the infirmary bill, information technology was not covered past Blue Shield. Sunrise Hospital did non submit the beak to my insurance provider within the year time frame. Instead, Sunrise sent me to collections in January of 2019. I called the hospital to inform them I had insurance on seven/7/2018 and re-given my Blue Shield insurance information and advised Sunrise of the date the day of service was covered by Blue Shield. However, Sunrise Hospital once again failed to submit within the required fourth dimension. Sunrise billed also late, and in August 2019 Blueish Shield denied my claim and refused to cover the medical neb. While in this process I was also advising Blue Shield of Sunrise's unfair practices of not billing in proper fourth dimension frame.
I take been proactive in following up on my instance, but information technology is unprofessional from both parties that they are putting this sum of $4,000 on me the patient, when I was fully covered. Information technology is gross negligence of Bluish Shield's behalf, since I was fully covered when taken to the emergency room. Sunrise is also committing fraud with sending me to collections and not billing promptly. I've disputed this multiple times in the past iii years. I will exist reporting this matter further to all media and medical platforms & making sure another patient is not stuck with outrageous medical bill when they have medical insurance. Very dissatisfied with Blue Shield for denying my claim and highly propose consumers non choose Blue Shield based on my poor feel.

I changed policy type for myself and 2 daughters in January to save money. They told my banker to kickoff new applications for each of my daughters and they would keep me on the same policy number. That was the start of my trouble. I paid my premiums on time for each policy separately. Come January I log on to my business relationship and information technology says I owe over $1900! Their system has all iii of us on the policy yet and for the old higher premium from 2019. I call to become it fixed. I was patient and was told it was stock-still.
5 days subsequently I log on and the high remainder is still there. I call again and was told information technology was fixed and then the same affair happened once more. Third time I sit on the phone for over an 60 minutes and it's finally stock-still. I decide to put all three policies on Automobile pay starting for March 1st because it's hard to remember to pay when yous have two small kids. It takes ane-two billing cycles to accept result. With February having an odd number of days for bound twelvemonth I telephone call to confirm there is no issue with payment for March. The associate says it's a adept idea to pay March manually and he will modify his organization to reflect automobile pay to first in April.
I bank check my credit carte statement today and I have been charged twice for both daughters policy premiums. Over $1k! I call to get it credited back and they tell me they will have to cut a bank check for both overpayments. I ask why they can't credit dorsum the credit card. I am told that this is the way it'due south done. So a screw upward on their end volition toll me interest on my credit card as information technology takes vii-10 business days to receive the checks! Bullshit! I wouldn't stay with Blue Shield just given yous can't change health insurance midterm I am held captive.

I work in the UR department for Mental Health for adolescents. This visitor puts children'south lives at run a risk by providing them with the less than minimal service. I have watched them for years get away with denying VERY ill children the mental health services they need. For perspective, other mainstream insurance companies provide up to xx days of service for the children to become treatment. They give six-eight days. If y'all have children, STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURANCE COMPANY!

My married man and I are going through infertility treatments. We have Blue Cantankerous Bluish Shield of CA. Commencement they told the fertility clinic that my procedure was covered. Now all of a sudden they are saying information technology isn't covered. My explanation of benefits show information technology is covered. The dispensary has been fighting with them to cover it. While going through fertility treatment, it's best to minimize stress. This whole situation has been aught only stressful. They are atrocious. I filed an appeal and the lady at my married man'south district office is going to try to become it sorted out. If they stick with the deprival, we are switching ASAP. Shame on them.
